Plastic granules are stored in silos
and are automatically fed into each
of the various strap extrusion lines.
In each extruder colouring is mixed with
the granules and the resultant hot plastic
is extruded through a precision die-slit and
immediately cooled, crystalising the plastic.
Tensional stretching follows to
create strength in the strap.
Now while the strap is still smooth
Sekisui can print on the strapping.
This is immediately followed by embossing
and ultimately leads to winding onto coils.
Packing in boxes and palletization
follow on completing the process.
